Announces New Concierge
SAN
DIEGO, CA – July 28, 2008 – Chuck Driscoll of Driscoll Boat Works is pleased
to announce that Kaitlynn Palmer has joined our staff to promote our mega
yacht concierge services to the vessels visiting our facility and the
surrounding Shelter Island area.
Kaitlynn will be filling in the shoes of Valerie Maughmer who became quite
well known in the west coast crew circles for her organizing of crew events
and services. Val is now working as chief stewardess on a 42 meter motor
yacht which is currently cruising Alaskan and west coast destinations.
Coming from a background in desktop publishing and event planning, Kaitlynn
graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a bachelor’s degree in
communications. She currently resides in Point Loma.
“Because of the recent influx of yachts, we found it very important to fill
this position with the most qualified person to accommodate the increased
number of vessels cruising the California coastline,” said Chuck Driscoll,
Vice President. “I am confident Kaitlynn’s experience and education will be
a great asset to our company”
Kaitlynn will be providing captain and crew with area guides and concierge
assistance in order to make their stay as welcoming and comfortable as
possible. Contact information is
